Heat Treatment of 12Cr1MoVG High Pressure Alloy Structure Boiler Tube

 The 12Cr1MoVG grade is an alloy structure boiler tube according to the GBT5310 standard. The grades we export the most are: 20G, 20MnG, 25MnG, 15MoG, 12CrMoG, 15CrMoG, 12Cr1MoVG, of which 12Cr1MoVG belongs to the grade with the most alloying elements. Such as toughness, wear resistance, hardness, and corrosion resistance are more advantageous than other grades. The addition of the V element gives this grade of tubing better stability and longer service life.

The heat treatment method of 12Cr1MoVG seamless boiler tube is similar to that of 12Cr2MoG grade, with slight differences in temperature (S refers to the wall thickness of the tube):
Steel pipes with S≤30 mm are normalized and tempered: the normalizing temperature is 980 ℃~1020 ℃, and the tempering temperature is 720 ℃~760 ℃.
S> 30 mm steel pipe quenching and tempering or normalizing and tempering: quenching temperature 950 ℃ ~ 990 ℃, tempering temperature 720 ℃ ~ 760 ℃; normalizing temperature 980 ℃ ~ 1 020 ℃, tempering temperature 720 ℃ ~ 760 ℃, but should be rapidly cooled after normalizing.
